Hey there, fellow travelers! It’s been an exhilarating journey as I embarked on my first-ever long ride through the picturesque landscapes of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and the enchanting Bicol Region.
What makes this adventure unique is that I chose to take it slow, stretching it out over four days instead of rushing through it in just one or two. Why, you might ask? Well, because I wanted to savor every moment, soak in the sights, and fully immerse myself in the experience of traveling on my trusty maxi-scooter.
My journey began in the scenic province of Laguna, and from there, the road unfolded before me like an open book, filled with stories waiting to be discovered. As the sun reached its zenith, I found myself in the charming town of Gumaca, ready for a hearty lunch to fuel my onward voyage.
But the adventure had a unique twist in store for me. Ahead lay the checkpoint in Calauag, where I needed to present my vaccine requirements for entry. The process went off without a hitch, provided you had all the necessary documents in order. Once through, I set my sights on the road leading to Daet, but a wave of drowsiness threatened to overtake me after two hours on the saddle.
However, just when I thought fatigue might win the battle, the road revealed its magic. Breathtaking vistas and thrilling twists and turns awakened my senses, making the journey all the more exhilarating. The path from Laguna to Daet was unfolding like a captivating story, and I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you.
Stay tuned for my next adventure, where I’ll delve into my Daet experience, share details about my accommodation, and take you on a culinary exploration of the local cuisine. Plus, we’ll venture out to explore the beauty of Bagasbas. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to have you along for the ride!
